“One of the main tasks of human life is
to gain a positive attitude towards oneself.”

(Erwin Ringel)

Due to my broad qualifications in the spectrum between psychotherapy, pedagogy, business consulting and natural horsemanship, as well as against the background of my theoretical/practical experiences, I can offer you the following services.

I understand psychotherapy as accompanying clients during a process of change. A prerequisite for this is a trusting client-therapist relationship that is based on respect, appreciation, recognition, and empathy. Systemic Family Therapy is one of 23 recognized therapy approaches in Austria, which focuses on the influence of the environment (family, friends, society) on the relationship with oneself as well as with others.

Clients come to my practice with the following issues:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Self-esteem problems
  • Loneliness
  • Dealing with loss (e.g., death of a close relative)
  • Emotion regulation disorders (e.g., outbursts of anger, crying)
  • Weight problems (overweight and underweight)
  • Addiction problems (e.g., alcohol, gambling addiction)
  • Sexual problems (e.g., orgasm disorders, lack of sexual desire, sex addiction, dissatisfaction with one’s own gender)
  • Traumatic experiences (e.g., war trauma, sexual abuse, illness)
  • Personality disorders (e.g., narcissistic personalities, borderline issues)
  • Relationship problems such as
    • Relationships with same-sex partners (homosexuality)
    • Relationships with multiple partners (polyamorous relationships)
    • (Potential) separations
  • Performance pressure (in professional and private life)
  • Stress in the work environment (e.g., mobbing)

As I have many years of professional experience as a business educator and have also dealt with psychologically deviant behavior of students in my doctoral thesis, working with people in the school context is of particular concern to me.

Adolescents, parents, single parents, teachers, and staff from the school system come to my practice with the following issues:

  • Depression
  • Suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts
  • Anxiety (e.g., fear of making mistakes, school anxiety)
  • Very high demands on oneself (e.g., perfectionism)
  • Bullying
  • Performance declines
  • School absenteeism
  • Family conflicts that “make themselves heard” in the classroom
  • Problematic teacher-student relationships
  • Specific areas of conflict due to different values (e.g., challenges related to migration)

In hypnotherapy – according to Milton Erickson – clients are put into a state of trance consciousness, where the depth of the trance state can vary individually. During hypnosis, attention is then directed to inner processes and feelings similar to meditation. This “everyday state of consciousness” has been called “Default Mode Network” (DMN) since 2001. With the help of DMN, unfavorable perception and behavior structures are uncovered and “reconditioned” into more favorable or suitable perception and behavior structures. Control over one’s own actions is maintained at all times.

Clients come to my practice with the following issues:

  • Weight loss
  • Adjustment disorders
  • Allergies, anxieties, and phobias
  • Professional coaching
  • Resolving blockages
  • Burnout
  • Depression
  • Jealousy
  • Eating disorders
  • Nail biting
  • Fear of flying

  • Bullying
  • Motivation enhancement
  • Neurodermatitis
  • Panic
  • Test anxiety
  • Smoking cessation
  • self-confidence
  • Self-esteem

  • Pain therapy
  • Shyness
  • Fear of spiders
  • Stuttering
  • Stress management
  • Deep relaxation
  • Tinnitus
  • Grief
  • Trauma therapy
  • Separation
  • Teeth grinding
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorders

Supervision serves as a quality assurance tool in various professional contexts. I understand supervision as the promotion of an individual or group of people to better cope with everyday challenging situations in the future. A guided reflection on personal perspectives, behaviors, and decisions can expand one’s perception filter and enable future helpful coping strategies.

Clients come to my practice with the following topics:

  • Uncovering resources and potential in the workplace
  • Dealing better with stress
  • Improving teamwork skills
  • Promoting conflict resolution skills
  • Managing generational change in one’s own company
  • Improving client/customer relationships
  • Case discussions

For me, counseling means communicating on an equal footing with an expert. Due to my professional background, I am able to provide you with my theoretical knowledge and practical experiences in both private and professional contexts.

Clients come to my practice with the following topics:

  • Supporting decision-making processes (e.g., professional reorientation)
  • Talking about goals, concerns, and wishes
  • Accompanying significant business decisions (e.g., generational change in the company)
  • Analyzing and accompanying the process of starting a business (‘entrepreneurship counseling’)

As a business educator, management consultant, psychotherapist, and seminar leader, I am happy to accompany you in your process of achieving your desired goal or improving your situation. I approach this from a holistic view of the individual, which fundamentally assigns enough potential to each person to lead a satisfying, fulfilled life. Due to my neutral stance and variety of methods, I enable ‘help for self-help’.

Philosophical conversations offer you a framework to justify, question, and reflect on your thoughts, opinions, and perspectives on societal challenges, crises, and problem-solving in an individual conversation. The ability to make your own perspectives/values/assessments understandable and share or further develop them in dialogue with me enables a design- and action-oriented relationship with the world. You are welcome to send me your topics a few days in advance.

Clients come to my practice with the following topics:

  • What influence do war, climate change, etc. have on our lives?
  • Is democracy the best form of government?
  • Are (business) philosophy and the business world contrasting worlds?
  • Do we have to learn new technologies?
  • Is there an ideal concept of human nature?
  • Are unmotivated employees considered performance refusers?
  • Where does exploitation begin, where does voluntariness end?
  • Is ‘lifelong learning’ a right or a duty?
  • What is the meaning of life?
  • Can happiness be learned?
  • Is narcissism spreading in the population?
  • Is there such a thing as ‘healthy’ egoism?
  • Etc.

Lectures, workshops, seminars for institutions, companies, non-profit organizations are individually tailored to the needs of the client.

  • Thematic range of possible lectures, workshops, seminars: The spectrum ranges from specific illnesses (such as anxiety disorders, depression) to topics that serve to maintain health (such as burn-out prevention).
  • Methodological spectrum: In addition to classic lectures, workshops, and seminars, I also offer designs in which I use the specific potential of working with horses for leadership in a business context as well as for one’s personal life.
  • Time frame: The range extends from classic lectures of 1 – 2 units (50 min./100 min) to one-day seminars or weekend seminars. In addition, I offer lectures, workshops, etc. – as a refresher or as part of a seminar design.
